This chair is based on a piece by Wallace Nutting who wrote one of the first books extolling the virtue of early American Furniture in late nineteen twenties. Nutting also had his own shop which reproduced many of the antiques he wrote about including this one. Many of his pieces are worth more than the originals as are ours.
