Made as part of the Sheppard’s Hey Farm project for Martin Rosenblum Architects, this table was designed by Peter A. Copp of MJRA with Douglas P. Dimes to achieve a very specific goal. As with original dropleaf tables this table serves multiple purposes. Closed the table is a large sofa or console table. When opened and paired with two demilune tables it forms a 78” x 130” oval dining table that can comfortably seat 16-18 guests. The Shaker leg style and simple lines make for a subtle design but the Tiger Maple is anything but restrained.
