We were requested by a dealer to reproduce an antique Dropleaf Table but in a different size. While we were happy to do it for them we didn't think the table was worth reproducing. After 46 years in this business you would think we would know, however history has taught us that you can't always tell ahead of time which piece will be appealing. This table is clearly an example of a wonderful piece that has much more attractiveness and function than the sum of its parts. We love it. That does not mean we will ever sell another one. On the other hand it doesn’t mean it isn't fabulous either. You just never know.
