This piece a small part of a larger kitchen project. Our clients come to us mostly because they don't want standard cabinets. This is the only upper in the kitchen so we made basically an over size wall cupboard not unlike other pieces we've made in the past. These clients are antique lovers. Accordingly we used what we call a "burnished" finish which is a little dirtier or older looking with subtle distressing. We love to cut wood and we're pretty good at it but finish sells every time.
