We made this piece fro our friend Martin J. Rosenblum of Martin L. Rosenblum & Associates. This was a challenge in that he specified reclaimed chestnut. The material is very expensive and can be difficult to work with. In the end we came up with a very simple finish that allowed the old wood to provide all the character.
