This highly stylized coffee table is fairly far from our traditional pieces yet has a certain undeniable appeal. The unusual construction methods makes for a piece of interest and usefulness. The table doesn't use the normal rails attached to the legs via mortise and tenon. Instead the stretchers are cross-hatched as is the cleat underneath the top.
