A masterpiece of the first measure from Connecticut. A piece of nearly perfect proportion, it stands lightly on its graceful cabriole legs. The smartly executed fan carvings surround convex shells upper and lower while the small pinwheel centers the spandrel below the middle of three beautiful finials.
