The Block End Oxbow is also known as a reverse serpentine from the undulating shape of the face. Some early pieces re-curve smoothly into the chest side but the small flat along the edge is more difficult and more desirable in antiques. The drawers are cut from 10/4” stock and the Ball & Claw feet are hand carved.
